  On January 30, 1933, Virgie was married to Ernest Craig in Arkansas. Ernest preceded her in death in May of 2005. Virgie was a homemaker and had lived in the Salina area for over seventy years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Salina. Virgie had a reputation for being a hard worker but enjoyed many hobbies. She enjoyed cooking, canning, working in her flower beds and gardening. Her pets were important to her and she had raised cattle. Most important to Virgie, was spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
  Virgie is survived by son Albert Raydean Craig, two sisters, Bonnie Day of Miami, Oklahoma and Retta Crawford of Pryor, one brother, Bert Grigg of Tulsa, three grandchildren, Rad Craig, Mercedes Conyers and Misty Marie Craig, two great-grandchildren, Gage Craig and Colin Conyers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Virgie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest, three sisters, Artie Thornton, Essie Thornton, Ora Bewley and two brothers Earl Grigg and Ray Grigg.
