• Note: His father was Thomas Estep. In Frederick County, Maryland on 9 Mar 1758 at the reading of the will of William Holmes, Thomas Estep Jr. was a witness. The will was probated on April 8.⁴
• Marriage: He married Ruth Dugger, daughter of William Dugger, in 1764.
• Death: Shadrach Estep died in 1801 in Ashe County, North Carolina, at age ~56.¹
• Burial: Cove Creek Cemetery in Watauga County, North Carolina, is presumed to be his burial place, but there is no documentation for this.⁵
