• Note: Her surname might be Abeel. There is a Jacob Abeal in the 1810 census for Minden, Montgomery County New York with one daughter under age 10. Betsey would have been about 6 in 1810. Also, there are a few Moyers in the same township, and Betsey is buried in a cemetery on the Moyer farm. By 1820, Jacob Abeal is in Charleston Twp, a few miles to the east, same county.²

• Marriage: She married Abraham Zimmerman, son of Adam Zimmerman and Margaretha Mathaeus.³
