• Residence: He lived in 1629 in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he was one of the founders of Plymouth Colony.⁵
• Note: At this court Mr. John Done being formerly chosen to the office of a Deacon in the Church at the request of the Church and himself was freed from the office of an Assistant in the Commonwealth. - from Plymouth Colony Records, Vol. 1 p. 23 on 2 January 1633.⁵
• Note: He was one of four men appointed to gather funds to build a mill and to have it built: John Done, John Winslow, William Collier, and Miles Standish. on 5 July 1635.⁶
