  • Residence: He lived in 1872 in Smith County, Texas. His death certificate (1932) says that he has been in that city for 60 years.2
  • Residence: He lived in 1880 in Clark Co Arkansas and his mother Emily was living with him.3
  • Note: He was possibly the Bill Talley, brother to James Alexander Talley (half-brother). If so he lived in Uvalde Co Texas and his descendants later in Caldwell and Bastrop counties. There is an Alfred Talley who died 5-9-1917 in Uvalde Co., Texas - perhaps he was William Alfred and went by Bill or was Alfred William.
