• Note: It appears that her maiden name was Jones, then she married a Haburn, then married a Jones.
  There is a Mary Jones as Head of Household in Lee Co., Virginia in 1850 (Census page 333, District 31). (Mother of Manasses?) In her home are Franklin age 27, Samantha age 19, Jackson M. age 18, and Mary Mills age 16. The Mills family can be found on the next page, 333B). Also on 333B is a Parsons family, possible Mary's parents, William and Nancy Parsons. Manasses Jones Haburn is on p. 334. William A. Jones, Manasses's 2nd husband, is on p. 334B.
  
  Her daughter Samantha's death certificate spells her name Minesa Ann - the informant was Rosebert Linebarger.
• Marriage: She married Andrew T. Haburn in 1843 in Lee Co., Virginia.⁴
• Name-Marr: As of 1843,her married name was Manasses Ann Haburn.
